Freedom, sacrifice and jumping badger.

I recall some liberation war. There was a town we liberated. I remember night lights - the first night of freedom. It was beautiful.

Then it appeared as this town was on a big cruise ship, a really humongous one. A guy was flying around it on a rope attached to something high above. I was following him as if I was filming him with a camera. He landed on some dark structure and waited. A huge sea monster appeared from beneath. Just his dragon like head... more like a Chinese dragon. The guy has done something in the past and he had to atone for his deeds by sacrificing himself. This way he would also save the rest of us from the monster. I do not actually recall him being swallowed. Just the notion of the sacrifice is all that I recall.

Later on I remember getting out of bed in a living room in my parents apartment and walking out of the room. When I returned I saw a mouse in the bed. I called someone, perhaps my wife, to take a look as the mouse was cuddling in the bed. When she finally came, the mouse started running under the sheets towards the space between the bed and the wall and jumped down. I thought it was hiding under the mattress and lifted it up. Indeed the mouse was hiding under it but it wasn't a mouse, it was a baby badger. Not exactly a badger, because the head looked more like armadillo's head but without the armor. Also, there were very strong rear paws. The reason I noticed that is because the baby's mom suddenly appeared, grabbed it and jumped out od the window. It was quite high and I thought it was rather suicidal of the mom to do that but I saw her landing on her rear paws. They were so strong that she bounced of the concrete pavement like a ball and flew back up almost as high as the window was. Wow!
